what's up guys so super quick video I'm not even gonna throw an intro on this video so I just wanted to show you guys something super cool that I literally just found out for some reason I just found it out and a lot of you may not know about it because you really got to dig deep into the YouTube settings to figure this out but I found out a list of places I found out a list of songs that are actually copyrighted on YouTube so this is like super important especially before you start editing because if you want to ever monetize the video or not you know get bugged with the whole copyrighted issue or get muted on YouTube you can find that all out here on this list so pretty much what you're gonna do is you're gonna click up here at the very right where the the the icon is so you can go to your creator Studio or whatever your YouTube settings you're going to go over here down to create and you're gonna go to the music policy actually so it's right under the audio library so we're gonna go there you can type in any song you want and let's just say I picked this song now you can look at it it and it can tell you if your song is going to be muted or if the video is going to be blocked in specific countries or if it's going to be you know monetized by the company or you know whatever specific thing is going to happen so I just wanted to share that with you guys because I figured it's super awesome and I found I feel like it's super important I would love to know that this was here before I started making a video and found out that oh the music's copyright I can't monetize it it's getting blocked in this country it's not viewable here the whole video is getting deleted my YouTube's gonna get a strike because I have it I think it's super important to know so I really just wanted to share this with you guys super short video um yeah that's all thanks for watching hope you guys liked this tip give this video a thumbs up if you liked it and if you guys are just coming here make sure you guys hit that subscribe button and I'll catch you guys later thanks peace see you next video

tldr at the end if you don't want to give me watch time how to check copyright before uploading videos youtube my fellow content creators are you tired of editing videos uploading them to youtube hoping you don't receive a copyright claim and immediately receiving one i'll answer that for you yes i'm going to show you the best way to check the copyright on any song before uploading it i'm going to demonstrate the best method as fast as possible it's really easy and saves you a ton of time and headache before i start i'd like to tell you to watch the full video because there's a chance this method won't work if you ignore the last step as you can see i'm on my music channel account nova music check it out i post great music that i find on the internet give me watch time love you i'm going to use these videos for demonstration let's start with you lose control now i'll click on the show more button at the bottom of the description here and scroll all the way down at the very bottom of the description you could see a section labeled music in this video if this additional section appears on a music video the content is copyrighted and you will immediately receive a copyright claim on your video if you use the music if i click on learn more a more in-depth explanation is provided when you're watching a video that contains music there may be a section in the video's description called music in this video this section shows info about the music heard in the video like song and artist names youtube automatically adds this info to some videos when they're claimed by one of youtube's copyright management tools like content id let's close this tab and click on another video make them just at the top so we'll go for that if i go to the very bottom of the description you can see there's no additional message about the music this means this song make them is free to use can be monetized and you will receive all the profit don't click off the video yet because there is one caveat what i'm talking about is music licensing if i go back to my channel and click come together if i go to the bottom of the description you won't see a music in the video section this is because i have an epidemic sound license that clears this channel and allows me to monetize my content with epidemics music this means if someone else without an epidemic sound license were to use the song they'd receive a copyright claim watch as i search the song and click on some of the results so i'm going to copy the name come together here oh it's already pasted in there so if i click here you can see that music in the video section appears so that means it's claimed on this channel and let's click here montage that means it's claimed on this channel as well because this person doesn't have a license tldr if a section called music in this video appears at the bottom of a music video description the song is copyrighted and youtube will automatically place a copyright claim on your video if you use the song without a license if you don't see a music in this video section on a video the music is most likely free to use but there's a chance the uploader has a license to use the song check multiple video uploads of the song you'd like to see the copyright status for to make sure it's good to use if you want youtube to show this video to others because you thought it was helpful leave a like if you have any feedback or suggestions comment what's on your mind have a great day you beautiful content creators
