what's up guys good morning I'm in a bit of a rush today it's what I said like 10:00 it's 10:00 10:30 6:00 and I have to be at the office at 10:45 I'm about 20 minutes away so I got a rush over there but today's video is gonna be really good stay tuned we're gonna be talking all about wholesale and bulk buying the reason I'm heading out to the office is because I'm spending $2,000 today well two thousand dollars on a bulk purchase and the vendor is delivering the items to me so I gotta meet them there to get the delivery let's go all right looks like the delivery van is here and Callie's already bringing in the product so here's the last wholesale order we got I'm not gonna show you guys the exact item because I don't want to but as you can see they are adidas adidas we got a hundred pairs of these is there get it get it so I'm not gonna show you the exact item but I will break down our costs and profit on these and then I'll talk to you guys more about bulk buying and wholesale in this video but first a super-fast thrift haul Gucci Brooks fender 23 bucks okay let's break down this whole sale by Adidas shoes times 100 pair paid what do we pay 17 yes 17 dollars each our selling price for them on eBay will be right at $40 each so we paid $1,700 total and we should gross right around $4,000 total on those shoes now let's break down the fees oh this doesn't erase what goes oh it's a wet erase Callie can you get me a wet paper towel thank you see now it's working I'll keep this up here paid $1,700 should gross $4,000 we sell them on eBay for $40 each our fees should be $4 in eBay fees about a dollar in paypal fees and these things are light enough that they should ship first class for around four bucks so before our cost of goods our gross profit on them should be thirty dollars and 80 cents minus the cost of goods at seventeen dollars each we should net $13.80 a pair for a grand total of thirteen hundred and eighty dollars net profit on those shoes now obviously it's important to remember guys that we do have to pay Kellie to list the shoes we do have to pay taxes on that money as well and we have overhead we have a warehouse and other stuff but to spend seventeen hundred dollars wholesale to turn it into thirteen hundred and eighty dollars profit it's around an eighty percent net gain so even if after all of our expenses we only net fifty percent on its pretty good deal there and the nice thing about this kind of a deal is it's only two listings so we're listing 100 items but we're only listing two listings because there's only two different colors so there's a bunch of sizes but the way that we can list them on eBay is two listings we could list them all as one listing but we're going to do two one listing will be the black color with all the sizes and then the other listing will be the blue color with all the sizes as well and then the only other question is how long will it take to sell all of these shoes and the answer to that is I'm not entirely sure if we sell one pair a day it'll take what four months to sell them all or a little over three months but you guys get the idea it will take us at least three to four months probably to sell these unless we're selling multiples a day we could some multiples a day if we price them right but on the conservative side I would say it's going to take us about four months to clear out all of this inventory and get that money back but the nice thing about buying this way is once our $1700 investment is recouped everything else is basically just pure profit so when you start buying items like this and you build up your inventory by the end of it you basically have multiples of a bunch of items that are trickling out every single day your recouping your money and then you're just making pure profit on those items so we've done multiple deals like this we'll we'll buy fifty a hundred two hundred of one particular item and then again it just stays in our warehouse luckily we have the space to do this but it just stays in our warehouse and then we ship it out as it sells so where can you find deals like this I know that's the question that everybody asks us and the answer that I would give you guys especially if you're new to buying in bulk or new to wholesale I would say start with local auctions it's probably the best way to cut your teeth on buying in bulk and there's a website called auction zip z IP auction z IP comm where you can go there and put in your zip code and look for local physical auctions in your area I would be slightly wary of online auctions and I wouldn't suggest for your first time buying from places like liquidation calm or bulk make sure that you know what you're buying and I say to start locally because at least if you're local and in front of the items you can look and see exactly what you're getting it's one of the other reasons why we also told people not to start out buying storage unit auctions because we want you guys to not waste your money when you're just getting into buying in bulk buy stuff that you can actually see and look up and you know what you're getting so there you go guys there's a little sneak peek into a wholesale deal these are the type of deals that we do on a daily basis and these are the type of deals that really kind of pay our bills and pay our living expenses I would say about 70% of what we do our deals like this wholesale and then the other 30% are garage sales thrift stores stuff like that but buying in bulk and buying wholesale is definitely hey guys what's up my name is Noah and this channel is called wholesale direct where I try to give you the information as direct as possible and help you grow and build your e-commerce business so you can create different sources of revenue for yourself when you want to grow your business you have two main options well you have three options you can embezzle and do tax evasion but leaving that aside you'll have two main options you can either grow what you're currently doing so if your drop shipping if you're doing a thrift thing or something like that you can either grow with that or you can incorporate a new business and no tax evasion is not a new business but you can actually just have a different sector or a different revenue stream for your business so for me I've undertaken doing wholesale and adding that to my business basically I have wholesale accounts with a bunch of different wholesalers distributors manufacturers whatever other names that they go by and I now purchase in bulk from them and I have it shipped to my house yet because I don't have a warehouse I am working on getting it but until then I have it shipped to my house and then what I do is I repackage it I just put on the labels and everything and I will keep some of it here just because I get some orders on Macari I get some orders on eBay that I would like to ship from a house and then I also will send some of it to the Amazon FBA warehouse where I can then make it more passive Amazon will take care of everything two day shipping bada-bing bada-boom now my business is growing more and more so ever since I posted that in my last video that I was doing wholesale now from actual wholesale companies and I was buying Hasbro I was buying Funko pop I was getting all these name brand stuff a lot of people have been asking me if I could make a video of course your to know I was gonna make another video so I can actually get my watch time up all jokes aside I actually wanted to make a video showing how you can start and actually get started in wholesale with having little money because I'm not going to sit here and tell you oh you can actually start wholesale with no money because that's not true the wholesale business is very capital intensive and that's why it took me a little longer to actually get into wholesale I did start by buying from China I started Amazon FBA and I bought a couple of units from Alibaba and that ended disastrously and after I lost that $5,000 I first off didn't have any money and also I was very discouraged and I didn't want to have to deal with inventory and sinking that much money up front in a business again so when working with wholesalers the reason that you're going to need a lot of money is that most of these wholesale companies want to do business with actual other businesses so they want to do business with retailers who have experience with selling online and probably most of you are dropshippers I'm assuming that most of my viewers are retail dropshippers and most of you who have experience just ordering a product from Lowe's and instead of sending it to your house you send it to your customers house that's not what they want to do these businesses want to make sure that they're dealing with professional businesses because these customers they want them to be customers that are repeatedly ordering large orders so we're talking five thousand ten thousand twenty thousand two million dollars a month and once they get those reoccurring for these wholesale businesses that's how their business makes money they buy in bulk and then they have a quick turnaround times sending out those items to other businesses who are retailers who quickly will turn around those items on Amazon and then they will need to replenish their inventory now I have started buying in bulk and I have spent a little bit more money but like I said in today's video I'm going to be showing you how to work with different wholesalers from different ranges of how you can actually find them so we're going to be talking about how to find these wholesalers with name-brand products some of them are going to have high mo Q's some of them are going to have medium quantities that you will need to actually buy from and some of them are going to have a zero dollar mo Q's which of course you still need to actually pay for the items but you don't have to spend $5,000 up front and the reason why having this opportunity the purchase wholesale is so good for your business is because you get better profit margins when you buy in bulk like I said in the beginning of the video as well you get better discount the greats the suppliers are going to give you better pricing and you just get better profit margins you get to make better relationships with your suppliers all in all I think this is a great addition to having an e-commerce business so without further ado I have my computer and let's dive in and we're going to go in detail how to find the suppliers step by step so for this example I'm gonna be showing you how I found Funko pop distributors now I already had a distributor who was selling Funko pop but I'm going to show you step by step as if I was a beginner myself because I'm assuming most of you are now the first thing that you're gonna want to do is like everywhere else that you start in the internet you start at Google and you're going to type in the brand Plus either distributor or wholesaler or manufacturer any of those of buzz words so I typed in Funko pop distributors and then that's going to pull up on the page all of these different distributors it's gonna pull up Funko pop itself anyone who's advertising for the word Funko pop or for distributor for it so you'll see right here on the top we have the ads underneath that it says the reseller application for Funko pop which we don't want to apply to be a reseller we want to buy it from a reseller for them and then we are the retailer so as you scroll down you're going to see a store locator that's not what we want and here we have different manufacturers and different wholesalers listed underneath that for a Funko pop so we're going to open all of these up so we have southern hobby which if you have watched my channel is someone who I recommend and someone who I work with they are a great company under that you have another one and then you have eg distribution so I would open all of these up and what you're going to do is you're going to check each and every one and you're going to check first off if they have those items and the other thing that you want to check out is you want to read their website to see if they have a high moq so for Southern hobby we're just going to go on and I've already opened up the dealer application so here we have all the steps to open an account now I'm not going to go through with it but what you would do is you would see their agreements and their policies and you would scroll down until you see coast dealer agreement and you want to find something that says you know the map pricing or the Restatement program so let's scroll down until we could find the actual
