what's up storytellers ian garlick here and in this video we're going to talk about video business names video ideas for your video business i'm going to talk all about the pitfalls of it what i learned and how to move forward with it and what absolutely not to do if you have not yet make sure you subscribe to the channel down below because we're going to be helping you out a lot not just with video business ideas but also ways to market with videos so you can have more ideas of what to produce for clients more ideas for them for marketing and create really awesome plans really awesome marketing campaigns and videos that work all right folks so we're gonna talk about video business name ideas before i get started on that let me tell you a little bit about my story you know when i started the company we went through all these names and went through the cutesy names whatever and i didn't want to be pigeonholed and i want to grow this big company and i wanted to you know have it be this big brand and all of those things that you're thinking about probably right now you want to be this big brand that everyone knows about well there's a few things to know about business names first of all nine times out of ten people are not going to remember your business name they are going to remember your name and this is going to happen until you grow well into seven figures we buy from people so really i think incorporating your name into the business as long as it's an easy to pronounce name is a way to something to think about because i wish i would have made it like garlic marketing early on people remembered it they know my name they still don't name no name of our current company authentic web um and our original business evolve aloud i mean i had a whole purpose and thought behind it and no one could spell it no one could remember how to you know what the name was when i called it was like iron garlic from evolve aloud like what are you talking about uh because as if iron garlic wasn't tough enough evolve aloud made it even tougher um so definitely think about using your name now additionally if you've picked out a niche i would at least be using that niche in your domain name keep it as simple and short as possible easy to spell uh if you can get it down to a couple syllables three syllables that's great but if not i would have that in the domain name lawyer videos right doctor videos criminal defense videos mark you know manufacturing videos boom have that in there and i would probably be using that if possible in your business name we all want to get qt we all want to build this big business very few people are going to remember the name of your business and guess what you can rebrand down the road what you want with your business name is for people to remember it for you to be into the authority and people know that you're in a niche so if you haven't watched the niche videos like how to choose a niche most profitable niches and video business ideas make sure to watch all those videos because they're just gonna help you figure out what niche to be in right whether it's a type of product or it is an industry but i think that should be in your business name so people know right away what you do because that's what you want they want you to know you want them to know right away what you do and that you are the authority because people are going to buy from you people buy from people and that's what i want you to understand i know you think you want to be the next apple i know you think you want to be the next big production company that you probably whatever name you know in your local town or the big agency that everyone knows in your local town yeah those agency names very few people remember them that are buying now people that go to work for them might be talking about them your production buddies might be talking about this production company that everyone wants to work for the people that buy from them don't remember them for a long long time you might have some examples and say hey you know there's this big one that everyone buys from but it's a unicorn it doesn't happen that often and probably like the biggest one that we had on the giants of video is the harmony brothers right harmon brothers you're buying from daniel harmon and everyone remembers the name of it and also guess what happens when daniel harmon walks into me oh he's authority because his name is on the door so think about that my best suggestion to you would be niche name your name plus video in it that would be the best way to generate your business video name it's gonna help you with seo it's gonna help you be remembered and it's gonna help you to be the authority all right so choose that business name don't spend a whole bunch of time on it don't get cutesy with it absolutely not do not get cutesy do not use a big long name that no one's ever gonna remember don't use something that's very esoteric that you have to explain to people yes i know it seems like a good idea people are not gonna remember it it is not good marketing and a lot of you are gonna push back on this the ones that don't are the ones that are going to grow the fastest scale the fastest and succeed the fastest so speaking of which in the next video we are going to talk about how to now grow your video production business so make sure if you
