so this morning we had the great pleasure of a visit from the ceo and president of the frankfurt book fair the largest book fair in the world and the oldest to sign a memorandum of cooperation but of understanding between the frankfurt book fair and the world intellectual property organization this is exceptionally important because the frankfurt book fair amongst other things will become a major conduit for spreading information about our global book or publishing industry report which we do in cooperation every year with the international publishers association which provides an empirical basis for understanding the events in and the developments in the publishing industry frankfurt book fair and wipo are natural partners where oath both centennial centenary institutions uh and this is a major step forward in our cooperation i'm very honored to be here in geneva at waipo's headquarters actually to sign this memorandum of understanding about the frankfurt bookfair the frankfurter bookmesser and the world intellectual property organization working together and understanding especially how our world is changing how it's transforming not only through pandemic but bringing bringing the future to what's happening in the content industry and it's so important to exchange ideas to help each other to bring all stakeholders around one table to have this round table during frankfurt book fair but all over the world to exchange these ideas and to strengthen the creative sector i think we are natural partners and i'm very honored again and thankful for this cooperation thank you
